Parish Magazines

These monthly magazines were collected annually in a publication called Home Words which combined local church magazines with national improving stories, poems and short articles. Several volumes are held by the Parish Clerk and pages from them have been scanned some of which are shown here. The cover page was usually the same each month with one or two pages of information with a final page of advertisements. The pages are old and discoloured so the scanned pictures are not of the best quality but they are just about readable.
