The  Parish Council is currently made up of seven Councillors, including the Chairman, supported by the Clerk. 

Parish Councillors represent the views and interests of the whole community. Meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and speak on matters of concern at the appropriate point on the agenda.

All Parish Council meetings are open to the public, with a dedicated period for residents to raise issues of concern.

Attendance by Other Councillors

Your Suffolk County Councillor and West Suffolk District County Councillor attend meetings where possible and provide updates or reports on matters affecting the parish. They are also available to engage with residents on local issues.

Meetings are advertised on the village noticeboard and on this website, with agendas published five working days before each meeting.

Proposed Meeting Dates for 2026

The next Parish Council meeting will be held on Wednesday 3rd June 7.00pm, in the Village Hall. When available, the agenda can be found here.

The Parish Council aims to meet once a month in the Village Hall, normally on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.00pm.

The proposed meeting dates for 2026 are as follows: 4th February,  4th March,1st  April,  6th May  3rd  June, 8th  July,  5th  August,  2nd September, 14th   October ,  4th  November & 2nd  December.

Please note that meeting dates may occasionally change, so please check the website or contact the Clerk for the most up-to-date information.

You can also raise matters of concern at any time with the Clerk or one of your Councillors - contact details can be found below. Your Councillors act as your voice on the Council and ensure that your views are represented.
