Barningham Neighbourhood Plan (Regulation 16) Submission Version consultation

Barningham Neighbourhood Plan Submission consultation by West Suffolk District Council (Regulation 16) is being held from Tuesday 17 February (9am) to Tuesday 31 March (5pm) 2026.

Please note the consultation is into the content of the Submitted Neighbourhood Plan and comments should only be made in relation to the plan itself, rather than the background evidence documents.

 The plan and supporting documents can be viewed and commented on online at https://westsuffolk.inconsult.uk/BarninghamNP 

Hard copies of the plan and the SA and HRA will also be available to view at West Suffolk House and the Mildenhall Hub, and available locally by contacting the Barningham Parish Council Chair at jchalmersbnpc@outlook.com  or the Clerk at clerk@barningham-pc.gov.uk or via messenger on the Barningham parish Council facebook page.

Draft Neighbourhood Plan Consultation September 2024

We consulted on the draft Neighbourhood Plan between July and September 2024. It provided an opportunity to comment on the Plan and for residents to say whether or not they support the content of the Plan or would like to see some changes.

We also produced a summary leaflet which was distributed to every household and business.

Drop-in Event

We held a drop-in event at the Village Hall on Saturday 13 July 2024 where residents could find out more about the Plan, view a paper copy and obtain a comments form.

All comments received during this consultation are contained in the Consultation Statement that forms part of the supporting documents available on the West Suffolk website referred to above.
